Need help identifying part

What's up Everyone,
Trying to mount my after market wheels onto my G35 Coupe but apparently there is this stud that is blocking the way. Attach is a copy of the picture. Can someone identify what that stud is?? and Is it safe to remove it??

Here is the spec of my after market wheels.
19x9, +42,
19x10 +47
Maya Stm

Any help is appreciated.

For some reason my attachment didn't show up maybe because the file is too big. In any case, you can find the picture here.

It is a "safety" device so someone does not put your OEM staggered wheels on incorrectly. You can just remove that bolt with a socket. There is no reason to replace it after unless you sell the car.

Great !! Thanks for your input. For a min. there I thought it was some kind of sensor so I didn't want to mess with that thing.

even then, you wouldnt have had to replace it. I hang on to that bolt for when changing/removing the rotor. Sometimes the rotor is on very tight and i will put that bolt back in the hole and tighten it. End result it pops off the rotor without having to bang on it with a mallet.

Quick Question: With the above offset I'm running.
What is the measurement of the wheel spacer I should get, 20mm and 25mm?
I want the tires to flush with the fender without having to roll it.

youll need at least 25mm all the way around....those offset are way to high for a coupe or a sedan.
