Re: G35 Coupe and Rims

IMHO the stock 18's are as close to perfect as I have seen. That said, I think these are also very notable (it all depends on the color of the car of course):

Maya RT5 (I'll probably be getting these in the spring)
DPE R07 Variant S (looks amazing on DG)

2004.5 Black on Black 6MT, Aero, Premium, Navi

Re: G35 Coupe and Rims

They may look pretty, but given the amount of brake dust the Infiniti produces, these would be real bitch to keep clean.

Re: G35 Coupe and Rims

Rims are always a question of opinion and style. But I think I can safely say its not the stock wheels.

I am partial to my GFG 20s.

Re: G35 Coupe and Rims

Agreed... rims selection or replacement is always going to be based on opinion and style. As far as my 6MT, when I agreed to take the showroom floor model, the first thing I told them I wanted done to the car was to take the (in my opinion, of course) ridiculous looking Maya 20"s off the car.

Personally, I'm not a fan of chrome, or tacky fake rivets punched in around the circumference of the wheel. Guess I see way too may Pep Boy ripoffs on the roads down here...

The stock wheels are d4med good looking, and when kept clean (love my Brembos), they're perfect for the the car. They just fit the design perfectly. The only thing that would make me consider a replacement set is if they were lighter to help overall weight and the design was at least as clean/complimentary to the car.
