Re: break change at 14k

i dont know about the brembos but the non-brembos I have rplaced pads 4 times within 20K miles. Now, I drive a LOT and use my brakes a LOT, but...wear is relative and you are stopping the same heavy, fast car. I smell my brakes all the time, but they smell like brakes. You should try to identify the smell. If you smell rubber and not breaks, check it out ASAP.

however, this should be COVERED by the dealer, no? My brakes are covered to 36K miles, I would imagine yours are too. I can't imagine thats a AT only policy.

If you don't have the brembos yeah it should be covered under 60K
