New rims advice please

Ok, so its summer now which means its time to get new rims and pop the 17s in the shed with the snow tires.. Im really overwhelmed at this whole process.. I have a g35x sedan 2007 in IP.. Im looking for a matte black 5 or 6 thick spoke wheel,, Here is what Im looking at so far..

varrstoen (19)

and Rota Grids (18)

I have the x so they need to be the same width (8.5) But Im stuck at to which size to get 18 or 19.. I love the look of the 19s (varrstoens) but the 18s (Rota) are cheaper. I like the visual look of both equally, I just think 19 suits the sedan better. The only thing is that The winters here are harsh and IDK if I can drop my car.. that being said I think that 19s with leave the car to high up and to much wheel gap without dropping it.. please guys help me out!!

I prefer the varrstoen.

And you'll have the same wheels gap with the 18s or 19s if you run the correct sidewall profile on your tires. You can either drop the car, or find some super low profile tires for the wheels.

O wow I did not even take that into account.. no matter what I get, I still need to have the same diameter as the 17s rite? Can I even make that work with 19s?

as long as the front and rear are the same rolling diameter you can run staggered on a X. Run a 225/40/19 255/35/19 and you will be fine.

I have a 2004 G35x and I am in love with the matte black Varrstoen's. I am just looking to get the 18" ones. I am a little confused about if I can even get them or not. The offset stuff is confusing. Any help would be appreciated.
