Damaged Wheels

For those who don't know I'm selling a set of damaged Racing Hart J8's. I've been getting a lot of pm's asking for pictures, although the wheels are 90% sold I just wanted to show what happens when you let chemicals settle on a polished finish.

From what I understand this cannot be repaired at all. I think what caused it for me was using the foaming tire shine and letting it sit for a while. btw I was cleaning them with soap and water when I took these pictures..which is all you really should use on the polished lip.

If those are just polished you can refinish them. It's a lot of work, but easy to do. Just sand it down with like 1000-2000 grit sandpaper and finish off with a polish.
