My Volks are ruined!!!
Same thing happened to me using Black Magic wheel cleaner. I just bought some Mother's polish and the stains where removed. Try this out before going through any other hassle. Oh, and make sure the freakin detailer pays for the polish and gives you your $$$ back for the sorry job.

zaino, zaino, zaino... there's nothing else as far as I'm concerned...
wash your Volks like you would your car, then apply zaino as recommended to your car AND wheels... I'm going to put 2-3 coats on my wheels before I even put them on my car...

i read you purchased winnings. congratulations, and let me know how you keep your brembo's clean!!!!
I posted this advice before since I ruined my SF Challenges back in June 2003, USE WATER ONLY on volks. DO NOT USE mothers to polish it out, it removes the clear coat even more. I know there are shops that can repair this, just shop around.
