Can I put 225/40/18 front with 245/45/18 snows on my G? It works out that the front is about 3/4" smaller in front. I am looking at the Hankook Icebear W300's.

I'm planning on putting the ASA JH3 17" with either the Hankook Icebear W300 or the Radial W404.

 

Those sizes are the same as I'm running, Pirelli Snowsports. No problems for two winters so far.

 

What shocks me the most is the price of these MotherF*ckers!!!
Why do these cost so much?

 

I'm looking for tires for my coupe and I have read many reviews of the Hankook tires. The side walls are weak and can blow out easily. Most people that have these tires say they are the worst tires they ever purchased. Have you heard the same?

 

Why do you guys get weird sizes? Can't you just get 18" front and rear, with the same tires 225x45 F 245x45 R like the stock 18s come with? That's what I have on order. LM-22s.
