Question about tires.

I have a G35 Coupe and one of my rear tires blew out. The shop where I live doesn't have the exact same tires I currently have on my vehicle so here's the question. Do the front and rear tires have to match or can they be different?

Since they don't have the model currently on my vehicle I was just going to replace the two rear tires with the same model tires, and leave the front tires. This would leave the two front tires matching, and the two rear tires matching. Or is this not recommended and do I have to replace all four with the same model tire?

Thanks,
Richard

No, the front and rear tires do NOT have to match, but it is overall better to match.

It's okay to mismatch...just make sure the two sets have the same speed rating and similar wear ratings.
