Help me choose: Tein CS or 350z H-Techs

So I've narrowed down my suspension choices.

Tein CS coilovers w/EDFC

Pros:
Adjustable height and stiffness (w/EDFC), front and rear (confirmed by tein)

Cons:
Damn expensive (~2000)

or

350Z H-Techs (~200)
Pros:
Cheap

Cons:
Set height and stiffness, could kill shocks faster (which might cost more in the long run, thoughts?), ride a bit in question w/out changing shocks.

My focus is to improve looks but keeping a few things in mind. I don't want to surrender any performance or introduce any noticeable additional understeer. Also, I want the car to retain a certain amount of comfort. A bone jarring ride will give me headaches and **** the lady off (lol). And I don't want to have to drastically change my driving habits for speedbumps and driveways. Too annoying. Money saved goes towards other mods (side skirts, fenders, or exhaust possibly)

Kinetix camber kit for sure. (~750)

Budget ~4k for everything, including installations.

Thoughts are appreciated. Thanks.

I have the Tein CS's and I have no regrets, actually the only thing I regret is that I didnt install the front and rear camber kit when I put the coilovers in, they wore my tires out very quickly, If you have 4k to spend on a suspension do it right go with the Tein coilovers w/EDFC, Kinetix camber kit and I would get a set of sway bars also while your at it. Depending on how much you pay for the install you should spend anywhere between $3200-$3400 for everything installed

For about $160 you can get the H-Techs (for the 350Z). They look GREAT, respond very well, and have a great drop with a good amount of ground clearance. They also are only slightly stiffer than stock (14% front and 11% rear, so the stock shocks will live for a long time ), they only add ~3% roll stiffness so the stock under steer will not change much at all (which is good for street driving). There is also a VERY GOOD chance that you'll be able to adjust the stock camber and toe to AT LEAST within spec (if not very close to nominal).

Then again, you could always spring for the TEIN FLEX with EDFC for near $2000 with install. You could also pay over $600 for front camber arms and $220 for rear camber adjustment. It's your call...

Then again, I'm biased toward the H-Techs...

What? You think that John Kerry is not consistent?

I'd suggest saving the extra money and getting the full coilover suspension. For about an extra 100 bucks on top of the CS, you could get the Flex which allows for more adjustability.

If you get just the springs who knows how long the stock shocks would last before they went. Do it right the first time, and you won't have to worry about getting new shocks later on. Definitely get the camber / toe kits.
