There's a DIY here on DRIVER showing how to refinish OE wheels....SEARCH or you can call my favorite wheel repair shop TRUE WHEEL @ 800-FIXARIM and ask her. I've only had them polish my Volks and they charge me $100 per wheel, not sure what they'd charge for OE wheels....ask.

The DIY looked pretty straight forward. I plan on using it this next spring to fix any winter damage.

Cost me $125/wheel for customer powdercoating + machined lips. Wheels America did it here in Philly.

OMG I can't believe people are spending $400-$600 to have wheels refinished or powder coated. I'm far too tight for that.

Understandable, though in my case, I didn't want to spend a fortune on aftermarket wheels, and I wanted a 19", very lightweight, yet strong wheel. OEM Rays fit the bill, so I found a beat-up set in the classifieds for $500. All-in, the wheels cost me $1,100 for essentially a customized, mint condition set (not including tires obviously).

I can see that. And I do think they are great wheels and great looking. I found a shop here that will do them for about $500 and they seem very meticulous.

But still, these don't look too bad right now and my car has 77K on it. It looks good but it's no show car.

So I'll try wheel wax and let you guys know how it goes.
