Yes, but it's not going to do any harm. I've been rolling with the TPMS light since I got my coupe in June '09 or thereabouts, you'll get used to ignoring the light which won't be a problem until you someday get wheels with TPMS again

I was thinking about taking mine out of my wheels before i sold them but its gonna cost the same price as mounting and balancing just to remove them so i dont know if its financially worth it.

Will have the light on all the time but haven't seen anything outside of that.

Light will only come on after driving for at least 20 miles or so at a time. My winter wheels don't have TPMS and light only comes on after long drives, never on my 9 mile commute.

That's strange...mine comes on right away. I have 3 sets of wheels and 3 sets of sensors. They're kinda useless if you stay on top of things and check your tires.

Hmmm, I wonder if that has more to do with the fact that you have to recalibrate the ECU for each different set of wheels/sensors to get it to register the pressure properly.

ECU gets recalibrated for each set...The light comes on after driving for less than 10 seconds if one of the tires is low. Also, if the light comes on it stays on. Hmmm...maybe there's a difference between years? Mine is an 06.

Makes no sense to have TPMS if you can drive 20 miles on a tire that's low on air before it even warns you?

I agree! There must be some sort of engineering justification that the lawyers let Nissan get away with...

Don't know if you guys have faulty systems, mine turns on in a matter of seconds.

I've lowered my air right before going to the track a few times and as soon as I drive off it beeps and the light stays on.
