How do you measure the offset?

How is the proper way to measure an offset...the delaer does not know, go figure...

offset determines the measurement from exactly halfway from the wheel to positive (towards fender) to negative (towards brakes).

To measure offset of a wheel. Lay wheel down with backside facing up, measure from the flat mounting surface area to the outer edge of rim, then subract that # to half of the rim width = the offset of the wheel in millameters.
