best tires for 18x7.5 rims

I'm due for new tires. My 2008 Infiniti G35x Sport has 225 55R18s front and rear and I'm thinking, to maximixze handling (don't want to purchase larger rims), going with 245 45R18s for the rear and 225 50R18s for the front. Is there a better way I can go with tires? I was thinking the 245s both front and rear? Is that a better choice?Any help would be much appreciated. What combination with the OEM rims would give be the best handling and kick? Thanks in advance.
