Check your spare!
Was in my trunk fixing my fuel door lock actuator (see the DIY here) and decided to vaccuum out the trunk and organize etc.
Hadn't checked my spare in a while and thought I'd remind everyone to give yours a looksee, check the air pressure and condition of the tire so that it will actually function, should you need it.
I went ahead and put a little over 40psi in mine (it had about 15psi in it) so that if I neglect to check it for a while, then should it loose some pressure over time that maybe it will still have enough if/when I need it.
I also carry a little Campbell Hausfeld 12v air pump (it's cheap and it fits down in there nicely) and a tire repair kit for emergencies.
Hope this little tidbit helps ya'll!
