no one was hurt. Just a really pissed driver.

The Falkens are usually more expensive then sumitomo, Sumitomo is a cheap off brand

I guess i was wrong then. But i will still chose Sumitomo over Falken.

not exactly...its not a cheap off brand like sunny and general yada yada it's just not as well known cheap off brands dont cost 750-850 a set which is about the same as falken...i will still go sumitomo over falken

the sad thing, i too have a set of Falkens for the current set. I had them before and the rear blew. They were 20s. I've read and heard Falkens do have blow outs. =X I Just want to make sure the sumitomo wasn't a cheap brand that the guy at Discount tires is trying to rip my friend off.

So I'll let him to know to keep it since some of the G drivers here have them and didn't seem to have any problems.

Have had great luck with all the Sumi's I've sold. Great tire for the price.

Neal,

I don't see the Dunlop Direzza Star Specs in anything larger than 18" on the website. Do you offer them in bigger sizes as well?

18's are the largest they come in. Sorry.

Falken is a performance division of Sumitomo. It is the same company and they definitely share the technology, if not manufacturing facilities.
I have HTR ZIII, excellent tire, even track worthy.
