Should I be worried?

Hey guys, I got my new tires installed and the it seems that my wheels were jumbled around after the install. A while back I caught a little curb rash on my right rear wheel. After the tire install, that wheel was not on the right front. I thought there was a screw to prevent this from happening? Should I be worried about this? Are the wheels different in any way that should make me concerned? The left side is fine and they were installed the same as before.

I should mention that I really haven't driven the car hard since getting the new shoes, so I can't tell anything is wrong.

Any comments would be appreciated. Thanks!

Re: Should I be worried?

you should be fine as long as all your rims are the same size.

Re: Should I be worried?

They are stock 17" rims. I assume they are the same size...

Re: Should I be worried?

I just read this in the owner's manual...now should I be worried?

Coupe
Road wheel
Type Position Size Offset in (mm)
Aluminum Front 17 x 7-1/2JJ 1.18 (30)
18 x 8JJ 1.18 (30)
Rear 17 x 8JJ 1.30 (33)
18 x 8JJ 1.18 (30)

If I read this correctly, this means that I have a 17x7-1/2 JJ in the front and 17x8JJ in the rear. This would lead me to believe I should have them remount the tire on the proper wheel.

Can someone confirm this for me?

Re: Should I be worried?

You are correct. The 17s are different widths front and rear. 7.5" front, 8.0" rear. There should have been bolts in the front discs, that prevented the rear wheels from being mounted on the front. Remount the tires, and have them put back on the correct end of the car.
