Best price on Hotchkis sways - where?
My wife is getting her Christmas shopping done (yes - already) and she's looking to buy me some Hotchkis sways (good woman). I told her to check out i-m-racing.com, 'cause they were letting them go for $259, but their site appears to have lost its lease. Anybody know where the best deals on Hotchkis sways are?

Re: Best price on Hotchkis sways - where?
I got a tip to contact Titan Motor Sports, which I did and was able to take advantage of an old group buy - $250 shipped. Here's the rub - not in stock for a couple more weeks. No worries though, this is my Xmas vacation project, so I'm in no hurry.
Anybody have any experience with the collar issues on the Hotchkis? Nissan, Stillen, and Stock sways for the G have collars that limit lateral movement. Some people have complained of knocking sounds after installing the Hotchkis due to the lack of these collars. Anybody?

Re: Best price on Hotchkis sways - where?
yeah. Titan seems to have the best prices. I took advantage when they had them for $240 shipped.
In terms of the knocking sounds, I get popping sounds from the bushings because Hotchkis didn't include their industrial strength grease that supposedly doesn't dry up or wear away. I used lithium grease which lasted about 4 months or so before the popping sounds started. I called Hotchkis and they sent me their grease which I'll use the next time I re-grease. Once you look at the bars and how they're installed, there really can't be any real noise from shifting because the bar doesn't hit anything when it moves. The noises are probably just dry bushings.
Hotchkis' position is that the collars are unnecessary. However, you can get collars from McMasters, I believe for around $35 if it will give you piece of mind.
BTW, borrow mine or invest in a 18" (or longer) breaker bar for the front bolts when installing the bars. They were a b*tch to get off.
