Suspension
Re: Suspension
Ask yourself these questions:
1) How much do you want to spend?
2) Are you looking for performance or looks?
Everyone on here has their own personal preference with respect to suspension mods. Some people prefer going with aftermarket springs (maybe with aftermarket shocks) while others prefer the full coilover set up.
If you go with the spring and shock set up, the ride height is set and cannot be adjusted. Depending on aftermarket shock type, some offer adjustable damping adjustments.
With the coilover setup, you have the ability to adjust damping, ride height, and spring pre-load (not all have this option). The coilover setup offers the most flexibility.
When lowering your car, I would suggest getting camber kits to correct the negative camber thus preventing uneven wear on your tires. Either set up will affect your camber.

Re: Suspension
If you do not have wider wheels in the rear and are going to lower on stock wheels. You definitly will need a camber kit.
I would not just put springs on the car. It messes up the entire ride of the car and on top of that will mess up the stock shocks and eventually will have to change them. I have JIC coilovers on my car and love it. I can adjust everything. Make it softer harder bring the height higher or lower. Its the best deal you can get.
But also you got to take into a big factor like above was noted is the price. Springs will cost you about 200-300 for parts and about another 100-150 for install. As for coilovers, its going to cost over a grand for sure unless you get used.
If your going with coilovers go with Tein, HKS of JIC. in that order.
