What tires should I get?
Well it's time for new tires. I have 19x9.5/19x10.5 work vs-xx wheels with advan sports right now, which are spent after about 15k miles. Even tho I love these tires, I need something that will last longer. I really like the g-force's but I'm not sure how long they will last... I would like to get at least 25k miles out of my next set of tires and spend no more than $900... Any suggestions?
Try lookin into Kumho Ecsta LX Platinums. Even for all season tires, the tread wear rating is super high at 600. They have pretty good dry/wet performance. The only downside about these is that they are asymmetric, so you won't be able to flip em if you run into camber wear. You will easily get over 25k with these.
On the america's tire website, I found some Continental ExtremeContact DWS. I'm in need of some new rears for my G. I run 285/30/20 for the rear and 255/35/20 for the front. To get new Michelin Pilot Sport PS2's would cost me about $8-900 for the rears alone. They quote about $ 900-1000 for a whole set of the Continentals and they are warranted for 50,000 miles. I'm not sure about these tires, but am willing to consider them for the price. They are Asymmetric as well though.

tirerack doesn't sell the ecsta lx platinums in my size...
Yeah I was lookin at the Continentals, the tread rating is pretty high. I guess all seasons are gonna have the highest tread rating...

That's what I figure. With the PS2's and the twisty 35 mile drive to work (I drive up a mountain road), I blew through the last set of rears. The negative camber really shows on the wider wheels and tires. When I drive into a parking garage, I can see that only the inner half of the tire is touching the ground. Any way, I kinda like the idea of having a mileage warranty. All season is good to, since it snowed this last weekend up here because of that storm. Luckily I don't work on the weekend.

the 50k warranty on the continentals applies to treadwear? I thought warrantys on tires are only for defects or if they're damaged... I don't think any tire will last 50k miles on a G... We get a good amount of snow here in PA, but I have another car I use for the snow, so the only benefit of getting all seasons for me would be longer life. I've always wanted the BF g-force's b/c they just look sick! but I don't know how many miles I'll get out of em...
IDK.
I got about 15K on the PS2's. I'll buy them again though. They stick so good on the turns. I'm thinking I'll get some higher mileage ones for awhile though.

I'd look at a performance all season to retain some handling and get the longer tread life. Assuming you're using 245/35-19 and 275/35-19 the DWS would be the best bang for the buck tire. Have sold a lof of those with good luck. Call me quick as rear stock is getting very very thin.
