Tein H-Techs for sedan

I just purchased a set of Chrome coupe 18's and noticed there is a definite need for lowering epecially in the front. I am extremely happy with the way the back looks. I am wanting to go with a minimal drop since the Chicago winters can be hell. I was consideing going with the Tein H-Techs made for the G and not the Z. I like to look of the Z its just a little low for my fears. Does anyone have a pic with the regular H-Techs for the G sedan. Thanks

Re: Tein H-Techs for sedan

i've got h-tech's on my sedan. 1.4"front / 0.7"rear. nice conservative drop for someone who doesn't want to change their driving style, or camber. i'll see if i can get you some pics in a day or so. i've got some bad pics in the rides section, nothing that will give you a good idea from the sides. it felt wierd to get in the sedan after the drop, like my front tires were low or something. but ride quality is amazing.

sorry, i'm out of the area for a while, so my wife was cool enough to hook me up with some pics. i've got a few to post, to show wheel gap. some are good, some are not. please don't mind the dirt. like i said, i've been gone a while.

Re: Tein H-Techs for sedan

well, for some reason i couldn't load the pics. but i managed to put a couple extra on my profile, so you can see them there. i also remembered that when i got them on, my wife couldn't really see a difference until i parked next to an unlowered sedan. that was about 10 months ago. so it seems she's forgotten the views i showed her. the 45 degree from the front and so on. but she showed the wheel gap, which is what i asked for. i'll see if i can some more, before she turns in the car for the body kit to get put on.
which is one of the reasons i got these springs. it lowers it, but not too much. still about 2 inches of wheel gap in both front and back. but when i get my body kit, my front is going to be 4 inches lower, and that extra inch i saved from getting the h-techs instead of the s-techs, might prove useful. besides, i didn't want to shell out more money for adjustable camber arms and stuff just to get it back within specs.

can you tell me what your alignment specs are now after the Tein H-tech install? or was it too long ago? with a 1.4" drop in the front, are there any uneven tire wear issues due to camber? i'm looking to swap out my 350z suspension for a little softer ride quality. thanks!

I'd suggest getting camber kits if you plan on going ~0.7 inches and lower.
