painting volks?

I just bought a set of volk sf-winnings and they are black with a chrome lip. I have a twilight blue coupe. Should i change the color or keep it as it is. If i do change the color will a body shop be able to make it look good. They are volks and i really dont want to ruin them by painting them. Also what color should i paint them and how much do you think it will cost.

I'm willing to bet the lip isn't chrome, unless you actually bought them with the lips chrome plated.. Which Volk doesn't offer..

In any case, color matching the lip (or face for that matter) to your car always looks good.. Especially since black isn't too wild of a color.. It shouldn't cost more than a couple hundred, tops, to paint your lips

Black, silver and gunmetal usually look good.
The quality of the finished product is all dependent upon the shop you pick. To have them done you are probably looking at a few hundred.
