how much do the stock 18 inch wheels on an 03 g35 weigh? I am wondering while I'm looking at wheels how much I should be shooting to be under.

oem stock coupe cast 18s are about 24-26lbs. oem forged 350z track 18s are about 18-19lbs.

there are also the weight of the tires to consider. RE050s weight alot

ok. well looks like even if I get eneki wheels weighing in at 17 front and 18.3 back I'm knocking off some good weight. I already know I am on tires... hancook tires ftl. I just want to decrease the wheel weight as much as possible. after reading about what wheel weight does to your available torque I really want light weight wheels and everything.

some of their racing series wheels are. not the regular series. it was also 17.8 for the front. nearly 18 anyways. I had a set of their 19's on my jetta and was very happy. 21 pounds a piece for 19x8.5 with a bulky look to them.

Just look into them a bit. their racing series wheels are pretty nice. If you are a into welds or bbs or anything like that you can just write them off as crap if you want though.

Those are nice but pricey. I run oem 19" rays that are 19lbs each.

For 18s I'd run the Z track 18s. Just as light but way cheaper.

Unless you can find some enkei/Volks etc.. wheels used.
