Widest Tires on 19in Rays?

Hey everybody, I got some original 19inch rays on my G35 and I was wondering what's the widest tires I can put on them? Will 275 35 work on 19 inch rims or is that too wide?

UPDATE:

Update.. Got the car up and running with 275 35 on the oem 19 inch rays on the rears. So far it runs pretty smooth without any trouble..

took the pics with my phone so its not the best quality..

There are quite a few topics on this already, I recommend you search.
I wouldn't go too wide, you will throw off your vdc among other things.

I've searched but most of them are old topics and I was just wondering what people have to say now. I want to mount 275 35 19 for the rear wheels and I'm just seeing if anyone has done that with 19in rays.

Too wide, 255 or less IMO but do some searching I know some folks run that wide a tire but for comparison, I run a 275 on my 10" wide wheels

this may be useful.

also, make sure the fronts and rear diameters are w/in 3% of each other.

I looked into this when i first got my OEM 19. I currently have 255 on the rear and IMO that is the max that would be safe on a 8.5 rim. Ive seen people say you can fit a 265 on a 8.5 wide rim, but definitely not a 275

I'll give it a shot. Got the tires from some 350z Nismo rims so if they will fit great, if not oh well

Search!!! Your rims have not grown wider and the tires have not grown smaller.

You need to make sure your not increasing your overall rolling radius, otherwise your going to throw off your speedometer... Are you coming from OEM 17s or 18s?
