Anybody running aftermarket 19s with a 245 or 255 and 40?

Anybody running that set-up in the front right now? I want to run 255/40/19 for my new wheels but I'm scared it's going to look too fat. Way too much tire, but I also want it to be very comfy. I'm coming from 245/35/20 and the ride is terrible. What do you guys think? Anybody have any pics with 245/40/19 or 255/40/19?

don't go any bigger than 245/40R19 on a 19x8.5" wheel, 255/35R19 is a happy medium between 245/35 & 245/40 but narrows down your tire options.

my fronts are 19 x 8.5. i've run 235 35, 245 35, and now i have 225 40. the 225 40 is just perfect for me in terms of ride quality and looks. plus, they are cheaper than the previous set ups. rears are now 255 35 on a 9.5 rim.

Check this site out: http://www.rimsntires.com/specs.jsp
It lets you plug in all different types of tire/wheel dimensions and will let you know
the diff between the 2 being compared.

The front wheel will be 9" so 255 or 245 will work. I know it'll be about 3% larger than stock but I don't really care. Just wanted to see how the tire would look. I'm also lowered about 0.8" all around on G35 H-Techs.

The wheel will be 9" so do you think 255/40/19 will be okay? Coming from 245/35/20 in the front going to 245/35/19 would be pointless. Since the whole point of this switch is to get a more comfortable ride.

255/40 up front is going to look meaty, just depends on your taste. They will definitely fit.

I just checked and it's the same sidewall height as my winters which is 225/45/18 and I think those look fine. Looks like I'm going to go for it. I just hope being 4.37% bigger than stock won't screw up my braking. I'll be getting the Akebono BBK so I hope it'll be alright.
