Would you go all 225/40/19 or all 245/40/19
which is safest and best bet?

Personally I would not put the rear wheels in front unless I have another pair of rear wheels to put out back.
RWD car with wider front wheels....thats a new one.

As stated, it can be done. But the obvious and best solution would be to get the same size wheels all around. Whether it be the 8's or the 8.5's, they'll both work with 245/40/19 tires
+1 best option and sell your OEM wheels to offset the cost.
