hubcentric rings

Hi, I have a 2003 G Coupe with Ruff Racing R280 wheels (20x8.5 in front & 20x10 in the back) and I went to a dealer garage for some suspension job and they told me that the hubcentric ring were missing. Do you guys have those rings on your wheels. I guess they are usefull for the wheel to be centered correctly. Am I right or wrong and do I really need those rings??? Thanks for helping me.

Currently I dont have them, but they are good to run. The wheels pretty much self center due to the tappered lug nut and seat in the wheels. You can pick up a set cheap inline. Just know the wheels bore so you get the right one.. our cars run a 66.1 bore.

You should definitely use them. They help reduce vibrations from oversized non-oem wheels. They also take a lot of stress off of the wheel studs.

Most aftermarket wheels are a 73mm bore. Our hubs are a 66.1mm bore. So you would most likely need 73-66.1 hub rings. Check with your wheel manufacturer to confirm the center bore of your aftermarket wheels.

Not really necessary if you know how to torque your wheels. Are they good to have? yea. But you don't need them.
