Need Offset help TONIGHT (ordering tommorow!!)

I'm ordering a set of 18x9 and 18x10 in rear speed star racing proffessor sp1's tommorow. I need to know exact sizes to ask for. I want the best offset that just barely clears my brakes (never upgrading brembo calipers), but yields the largest lip. I'm no expert on wheels, but im guessing that whatever wheels clear my brakes by the least amount, will give me the biggest lip. This is my last chance to change my mind on sizes. I was going with 19's but decided on 18's because of weight difference and because i decided i like the look of 18's slammed more than i like 19's sitting low. (i saw a similar drop on stock 18's and on 19inch gt-c's and thot the 18's looked a lot more hardcore dropped. Any comments/questions/ advice would be GREATLY appreciated. These are getting ordered TOMMOROW like i said....

anywhere that you think i should order these besides www.tirerack.com ? They will be here in march if i order them, which is the lag time anywhere (i checked around for these in stock and couldnt find them anywhere ).

I *think* it depends on the wheel. I have +25 offsets front and rear on my PIAA's, but I believe that each spoke can be slightly different. The offset only measures the distance from the back of the hub to the back of the rim (if I'm not mistaken) BUT it is independent of the spoke design. Usually the spokes are what you're trying to have clear the calipers, so maybe just speak with the manufacturer and see what they recommend.

Offset is the distance from the center of the wheel to
the back of the hub.

So for instance, +25mm will sit closer to the fender vs
+37mm.

I would probably choose something in this range:
+24 to +32 front
+27 to +37 rear

Raz
Wheel DIA has nothing to do with offset.
the same offset applies to both.

Who said anything about only applies to 19's?

You can use those offsets 18 or 19 or even 20.
