will 215/45 and 255/40 fit on 18x10 wheels?

Or will they be too stretched? Not too good with tire sizes thanks!

Here is a 215/45 on a 10" wide wheel, but 17" diameter wheel, should be similar

The 245/45 will be less of a stretch.
How come you chose those tire sizes?

People have done all sorts of crazy things with tires. Looks like they would fit, but it's not something that I would do.

*By "fit" I mean they would probably hold air
I am not tire stretch expert (or novice) but it looks like the tread will be about 1.6" narrower than the wheel. I'm not sure that I would want to drive on sidewall, esp with nice wheels that I like.

That can't be good for the tire, can it?

Straight line, slow driving, but any sort of cornering?

No that is incredibly wrong.

The overall diameters is completely against each other and it's going to look incredibly retarded.

IMO, buy the right size tires or wait until you have the right sizes laying around.

I hear ya man, well in that case can you recommend me some tire sizes that would be practical on 18x10 wheels? I dont want anything too thick or too thin, ive never had 10'' wide wheels though so im not sure what to order. Im dropped on Tein Stech G35 springs.

if theres no reason to stretch your tire THAT much, don't do it .. especially if you're not slammed, it will look dumb

Yea, like you COULD mount a 215/45 on a 10. But it's not suitable for what you're doing.

I would do 255/40 all around or if you are lowered a little 275/35 and 245/40

i bought a set of 245/40/18 but the guy at the tire place wouldnt mount and balance them, he kept going on and on about how the fenders will never clear the tires on a speed bump and i would kill myself on the highway.
I don't see whats wrong with 245/40 tires on 18x10 wheels on the front.

More specifically this is what im dealing with; i use a 10mm spacer to clear the wilwood bbk. The car is lowered on tein stech springs as well. The rims poke out a bit sure but I dont see how my fenders will destroy the tires if i run a 245/40/18
