I'm a big fan of split spoke, but I think in this case they spaced the spokes apart too much giving it an almost geometric appearance, and I don't really care for how they bulge out, just looks awkward to me. They look okay but not as nice as the 18s IMO. When I decide to put any more money into wheels I'll definitely go aftermarket.
