Exclamation Questions on 20" wheels and tires

I've been searching alot of threads,on alot of sites, got myself confussed now!.I don't have performance brakes and was thinking about replaceing the 18's with 20's.Anybody that has 20's can you tell me what set up works good?I don't want them to rub or cause any problems. What ire size, what offset mm. Rimm width? wanted to go with the same set up all the way around. Any suggestions or answers will be appreciated.

I have the TSW Thruxtons.
20x8.5 front w/245 35 and an offset of 40 with a 2.5 inch lip.
20x10 rear w/275 35 and an offset of 35 with a 5 inch lip.
No rub or rolled fenders. 10.000 thousand miles on them and tires still look new.

I havent, Im sure it is. BUT how can you say thats a TRUE lip, its not. He said in his post that he doesnt rub with a five inch lip. When its really not. Now if the guy asking the question that posted this topic went into a wheel shop and said I have Brembos and want a five inch lip. The shop would say it wouldnt work. He would say sure it would I was told it would.

i concur. for a 5 inch lip to be achieved, you would have to add widebody right? more than just roll the fenders and stretch the rubber right?

So I guess I have a fake 2.5" lip as well. If you haven't seen them than you don't know, do you?
