Any performance issues with spacers?

I'm looking to go 15/20 or even 20/20 (plan on wider rear tires) on stock rims, I'm sick of having to look for my rims under the car every day where they hide

Are there any performance issues, from an aggressive driving standpoint? I drive hard, corner too fast, chirping a little, etc.

Can spacers handle all driving conditions or will I need to cool it a bit?

Thanks guys.

As long as they have good quality studs (most all do) you will be fine driving as you do.

well, if you constantly drive like the way you describe, don't blame the spacers when something bad happens...

Cool it a little homie.

If you're going to use spacers don't settle for anything less than the best quality. Buy them from our MARKETPLACE under vendor suspension. Stay away from eBay trash where you'll only have nightmarish issues! Spacers do put unwanted pressure on your wheel bearing, which aren't the most reliable to begin with. I dislike spacers and if you discuss them with any good alignment mechanic they tell you to pass on em. Do what you want but for the safety factor buy the best quality....you life may depend on it!!

Nut huggers......smh
Op, I have the Ichiba V2's (20/25mm) and haven't had any issues yet. I too drive aggressively quite often.

I have the ebay ones, 27//27mm all around, not any performance issues that I have seen or felt with them.

like mentioned before, spacers add more stress to the wheel bearings which ultimately reduces the life of the hub. Then there are those who add spacers(without built in studs) and don't switch to extended studs, which can cause the factory studs to break. The spacers with built in studs are idiot proof.

^^Unless you buy the **** Ichiba crap and strip the nuts with about 10ft/lbs of force because they are as soft as wax. I swear to God I will never spend another dime on anything that comes from that company. I've had 4 of their products and they have all failed in some way.

Been running Ichiba and project Kics for a while now and no problems at all. The Ichibas do feel soft though. Ran my car at the sheriffs track in OKC and checked them afterwards. Still good.

Here were my issues, all Ichiba products:

Toe bolts-stripped
5 mm spacers-extended studs stripped
15mm V2 spacers-nuts stripped
Rear camber arms-bushing in the heads failed on both arms

There are numerous threads in the Suspension section about crappy Ichiba products, so all I can say is buyer beware.
