Non Staggered?

Non Staggered?
I have 2004 G35 Coupe, and was wondering if I can run a non staggered setup?
I was thinking of putting on wheels that are 20x8.5 all around with perhaps a 255/35/20 tire or something similar. Is this ok? Or would I experience any problems?
I know typically it is preferred to get staggered wheels for our car since the stock wheels are staggered, however I am getting a really good deal on these wheels, and wouldn’t mind grabbing them if they would work ok.
Thanks

It can be just as dangerous having it on as off. I prefer drivers be more intimate with their cars and their limits.

Yes, I should have thrown a smiley face after the bowling comment, I was being facetious.
But honestly, the VDC shuts the car down at times so much so, you're in more danger than without. Try scooting across a busy intersection. Wheel spin triggers VDC, which shuts power down, actually keeping you in harms way longer than if just spinning a little.
Also, driving up againt the VDC on turns and water doesn't teach a driver to learn the car, they rely more on the car to keep them safe.
I'd prefer drivers that know their cars limits better.
My opinion, and I do recognize the benefits of it. Don't think I don't.
I just think at this stage in tech, we either have fully automated cars or we drive much less distracted and more aware.
Soapbox done, I'm not perfect either. I know I know.
