Are Michelin X-Ice Xi2 Snow Tires good for the G?

Hey everyone I own a 2007 g35 coupe and I am going to be driving it for the first time this winter. I am looking at buying the Michelin X-Ice Xi2 225/50R17 all around. I was just wondering if anyone has used these on their coupe and how they feel about them? My car is also lowered an inch and a half so was wondering how people found driving in winter with their lowered Gs. Thanks in advance.

They are also T rated tires which says they are good for up to 190 km/h which I wont even get close to going but a tire guy I talked to said I should get an H rated tire. Is speed the only factor that these ratings are for because or else I think 190 km/h is more than enough.

Sorry one more thing I was actually looking into getting 225/50R17 but the tire guy is telling me to get 215/55R17. Is 215s too narrow for the G or is that okay? Has anyone ran 215s for the winter?
