255s on a 10" rim would be way stretched for my taste, I'm running 275s on a 10.5" rim and could easily move up to a 285 but don't feel the need.

What a stretch for that tire. Same thing for me. I have a 10.5 w/ 275 and i am still stretching. You can do it but do you really want to?

check this thread out... youll find all you need. The second car in on page 5, a black coupe, has a 10inch wide rim with 255s on it.

I think some people are missing the point of this thread.

If you want to run a stretch to go lower and poke then I would run a 245/35/20. However 255/30 will fit just fine

They are designed to fit up to 9.5" so it will be pulled a bit on a 10".

What offsets are the wheels? before stretching tires on them make sure they're going to work for the look you want to do. If not just stick to a beefy set up.
