I meant, since I only wash the front part of the rims and lips, the back side will probably get covered in brake dust, such that it wouldn't matter if only the back was painted gun-metal.... You'd get the same affect if you got silver, and the back had brake dust on it

 

Oh i see hahah, not exactly though!! Whatever the paint is, or something about it, it always reflects and gives that illusion, its crazy i dont know how to explain it but now i understand lol!!

 

It never gets as dark as the pure black they use. Its funny because it impossible to clean the inner lip of those rims without removing them from the car.

Not sure about the exact weight, But they are pretty good. My guess, around 20lbs.
