HP evo color

Those of you who have these what color do you have and would you have preferred to get the one you have or the other. Light or dark silver? Oh other ppls opinions are valued too.

Light

dark

Please post pics of your car also.

PS hp and evo are both too small for the search engine!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Depends on what color your car is...

On a black car, i would get the gunmetal. On a white car, i might consider the silver instead. Depends on the look your going for.

Take a look at my hypersilver dark's on my car!! The inside of the rim and spokes are the dark part, the actual front of the spokes are silver but get a dark effect from the inside of the wheel being dark! it doesnt really look "gunmetal" or dark in the pics because it really isnt, its actually an illusion like i just mentioned! But in person they do look darker then the pics

Yes that is what I think. They have grown on me and the wife said no way on the volks. So it looks like these will be it. These are on ebay for 595.00 for 18's w/ 38mm offset and staggered 18x8 and 18x9.

Ill what are your back sizes and offsets?

Ok, the only difference in color between hypersilver light and dark is the wheel being painted a gunmetal color inside the wheel! The spokes nothing on the outside or the face of the wheels was painted, the spokes reflect off the inside of the wheel giving it a dark appearance! Ok look at the first picture at the top of the rim, the spokes are silver, now look at the bottom picture and look on the inside how its painted dark, and if you look at the edge there is a silver circle of the original color, get it now? The offsets all around are perfect IMO for the sedan, +38 and im running 19x8.5/9.5 with a 245/35-19/ and 275/30-19 int he rear!!

I also do not recommend these rims on a coupe if that's what you have, the offset is totally wrong and will not look good, thanks for the complimets also

WheelMax told me that the 19's staggered would fit perfectly on a G coupe or 350Z and have sold many of these wheels for these applications with no problems. I have also spoken to other dealers that carry the same wheel that have also said the same as long as they are going on a non Brembo coupe. I've been concerned with the 38mm offset and what they would look like on the coupe. Does anyone out there have 19's mounted with this or close to this offset that can post pics or have any comments?

ILL you bastard....your car still looks way too sweet. I wanted those wheels but now everybody is getting those!

On the couple I would guess the reason they dont look that hot is they would be sitting too far inside the fender....but Im just a dumb old sedan owner so what do I know....

Martin,

I was thiiiiiis close to getting those rims from some shady looking website...except I wanted 19s in the hypersilver dark color. I emailed them for a price but they said they were out of stock. They had a special on staggered fit 18x8s for like $1100 w/ tires!! That is what caught my eye...i figured 19s cant be more than $300-400 more, but they were out of stock. I believe the website is www.woodandwheels.com

Sorry, but your G looks too nice in those shoes!!

What ILL G35 says is correct. The darker color is an illusion with the silver paint reflecting a black painted inner rim. I had Konig Imagines (which are very similar to those HPs) on my previous ride and confirmed this with the distributor from which I bought directly.
