Replace Rubber O-Ring for Volk Center Cap

Hi guys,

I've posted in the classifieds too, but does anyone know where I can get the rubber O-Ring for a Volk GT series Center Cap? I had replaced my tires and when they removed my center cap, the rubber O-Ring snapped. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks.

BTW, if anyone have a spare chrome Volk valve cover, I would like to buy one too!

You can get the required o-rings from any shop that sells hydraulic seals (e.g. plumbing or mechanical supply store). Typically, the o-ring that comes with the Volk GT center caps is a 3.5mm x 50mm o-ring. These are pretty standard metric sizes, and shouldn't cost more than a couple bucks each.

Thanks for the size G35Koupe! That will help me in locating it. I did see this one on Ebay:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/METRIC-RUBBE...item870d3cbfac

If you do the pull down menu, it does have 3.5x50 mm. Will that work? Thanks!

You might want to try the 3.5mm x 44mm just in case as well. Sometimes the o-ring material is a bit harder/softer so between the two sizes you should get what you need.

OK, I'll order both the 44 and 50 mm. Thanks for the help.

So, an update since I was asked...I ended up ordering both from the ebay seller and both looked like it would fit. I ended up using the 3.5mm x 44mm, only because it was hard trying to make the 50mm one to fit. The 44mm one was still pretty hard making it to fit, but I eventually did. In hindsight, if they had 3.0mm x 44mm, I would use that one. In the end though, the 3.5 x 44mm did fit, but will a lot of elbow grease!

g35koupe i have a set of TE 37s on my corvette, and the PCD is the 5x4.75 or 5x120.65 i bought them brand new from a forum member and he did not buy center caps for them. These are gloss black and do you have a cap that would match that?

also is the actual diameter where the cap goes the same as a 5x114.3 wheel? i have seen center caps listed on ebay but nothing ever for vette wheels per say.
