right size tire?

After 4 years of owning my g i've finally took the plunge and given the coupe a nice set of rims. i got 18x10 +25 for the front and the rear and i plan on rolling my rear fenders. I did some research before i bought them of course and was going to buy some 225/40 for the front and 225/45 for the rear. however, i'm a noob when it comes to tire stretch and all that so i could use some advice. I'm starting to worry that it might be too much stretch for a daily driver.

If anyone could suggest other sizes to give me a light to moderate stretch that would be helpful.

Wheel poke doesn't matter much to me, i just want the right sized tires for my wheels and to make it sit as closed to the fender keeping in mind that its a daily.

dropped on tien basics
1.5 in the front
1 in the rear

A 225/40/18 on an 18x10 is a lot of stretch, but whether it's too much for a daily driver is really subjective. In my opinion, stretching tires should only be done when you can't fit your desired wheel width inside your fenders.
