Yokohama AD08 or Bridgestone RE11, you won't be disappointed

There's really a lot more that goes into buying a new set of tires than just what do we suggest. Like mainly winter weather where you live...you don't want to get a great summer tire if you're winters are all ice and snow.

I live in Alabama and so we almost never see ice and I typically do not care for run flat tires because they ride rougher but having staggered tires and not being able to fit a full size spare in the trunk I went with a set of run flats. I have the Potenza RE050a http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....Potenza+RE050A
and to say the least I absolutely love the grip from these tires.
That's just my 2¢ but like I said depending on where you live and how much you're looking to spend will determine what tires you should look at. IMO, and some people may argue, tires are not something I go cheap on, it's what keeps me on the road and you get what you pay for when it comes to tires.

I live in North Tennessee. We get maybe 3-6 snows a year. So I'd probably want some all season tires. I have the stock Bridgestone Porenza's on now, the tire sizes are 235/50R17 and 225/50R17. I'm looking to spend around $800-$850ish installed.

Don't forget Hankook R-S3s for summers!

For all-seasons I'd go Continental ExtremeContact DWS.

I would look at the Yoko Envigor or Kumho 4X. Yoko's are a tad better long term and have been pretty popular with the G crowd.

Why are you guys recommending such aggressive tires?

Rs3s, ad08 and RE11s are dedicated performance tires....
