How Wide can I go?

I have a 2006 G35 6MT with OE 225/40R19 and 245/40R19. Want to go with Falken 452 @ 245/35ZR19 on Front and 275/35ZR19 on the Back. Will this work? New to this forum, appreciate the help.

Your fine in the front I believe. I have 225's and im just fine. 275's in the rear I rubbed until I went flat roll and a pull on it. But I have 19x10.5's +5 in the rear. If your stock you may be okay.

Use the god damn search function. Literally 10 threads about this same stupid question in the last two weeks.

Your car will handle like **** and it's dumb to run that size of tire. If you want to run wide tires, buy wheels accordingly.

The handling actually gets better and before I used to feel the car losing traction when I'm taking sharp turns it almost fish tails but now the car is planted to the ground and I have a lot of traction, it looks good also it will look beefy and sort of aggressive. Soo idk wtf these guys are talking about.

Orly? when you force the sidewall to pop out over the edge of the wheel which reduces the ridgidity of the sidewall that doesn't hinder your cornering....

Or right I remember why porsches run an 11" wide wheel in the back when they could have run an 8.5.

Wait, no I was making points for the wrong side.....

Bottom line, it's ugly and does not serve any purpose other than to spend more of your money.

4DGS you seem to know the answer to this question. What is it?

Even though the recommended fitment for 19"rays does not include 275/35-19, can you run it?
If so, what are the cons?

The 275's are a bit outside the oem wheel width range. Best to buy a 9" rear if you want to run that size.

As said in the other 30 threads about this exact topic. This is the exact opposite of running a stretched tire (which in a drifiting scenario where steering and handling are KEY increases rigidity in the sidewall)

However since there is excess rubber (look at it like body fat that jiggles) decreases your handling ability. You may feel more planted, but your cornering has actually been hurt by the sidewall flopping over the edge of the wheel.

265/35 is the absolute max tire size you should put on an 8.5" wheel.

Just don't go around thinking you've made your car something it's not by putting fat tires on your stock wheels.

Thanks for all of everyones input.

For you info, I read a lot of different threads about yes the same topic. Some threads were confusing and didn't quite answer my question. So I started a new one with a specific question. Sorry if it bothers you, but you don't have to take my head off about it. You don't have to answer if you don't feel like it.

Now that being said, in my thread alone, we have a couple people saying it's Ok and a few saying it's not.

How the hell is one supposed to get or feel which answer is RIGHT.

We all want the best for our cars, I sure do. You think I want to put Fat tires on my car only for the looks and be unsafe....NO....I got the damn things put on at a Reputable Wheel and Tire Shop and also made a call to an INFINITI Local Dealer and asked if it would work before I did It.

I asked them both "How wide Can I GO?" On my stock 19" Rims. I even mentioned that I had a few concerns after reading what you wrote....and don't get me wrong, I respect and thank you for giving me feedback.

If anybody should know if it would work or not, shouldn't a Wheel and Tire Shop who have been doing it for so long, know??

It actually looks fine and hardly bulges out over the rim. I will try to post a picture as soon as I take one.

Thanks again for your input.
