Tires for staggered wheels?

I'm thinking about going 17" + 18" on my G, possibly OEM on the cheap if there's some like-minded person out there who wants to swap 2 for 2. I think less spokes up front than back might look interesting, but I'm not crazy about the look of either set individually.

Anyway, is there anything special I would want to do by way of tires in this setup? Still the same all around?

Oh, and as long as I'm on the subject, what's the weight of the stocks?

Re: Tires for staggered wheels?

I dunno about you, but I think having 2 different sets of rims on the car at the same time seems really ghetto...

I see super ricey Civics, integs, and preludes have something like stocks on the front (hence FWD) and good rims on the rear. (This helps show that they are economic dragsters =P) But when I see this, its such a shame, looks like they cannot afford all tires for the rims they bought. Almost like putting on your body kit but not painting it cuz you haven't saved enough to do that.

It's ok to stagger if they are the save rims, but not if they are 2 totally different ones. But that's just my opinion...

- Don't argue with idiots. They will bring you down to their level and beat you with experience.=P-
