TPMS on Aftermarket Wheels - Help Please

Hey Guys,

Before I get flamed - I tired to search but couldnt find the answer and I needed and my question is kind of time sensitive.

I'm going to a local Tire Shop at 6pm tonight to have my new tires and wheels mounted. I am debating asking them to swap the TPMS too. If they put the TPMS in the new wheel - will I need to go to the Stealership to have them reset or will they just work as they are currently in my OEM Rays. Any other issues I should be concerned with? The wheels are 19" SSR MS1s in case it matters.

If anyone can shine some light before 6pm that would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance for any and all replies.

the shop installing the tires and balancing them should be able to remove, install and calibrate the TPMS sensor cost you like $7 or 8

as far as just installing them on the new wheels un-calibrated, i wouldnt do it for fear of pressure light coming on all the time and being a nuisance

The shop shouldn't have much of an issue installing TPMS and calibrating them.
