I have been looking for the strut ( tower brace) for my G.Who carries this brace as I have been on several sites, and unable to locate one for the 6mt

The G35 was not blessed with the required welded on mounting tabs that the 350Z has which you have to have to mount one. Also, Nissan put things in the way in that area to further complicate things. You can alway's walk into a Nissan dealer and order the panels that have the welded on tabs, slice them off and weld them onto your G. Here are the part numbers for the panels 64120-cd000 (RT) 64121-cd000 (LFT) $219 each. You'll still have to figure out how to get rid of the other things in that area that are in the way however.

1. The G35 does NOT have the 350Z's special welded on strut tower mounts seen here.

2. The wiring loom that wraps around the engine and runs in front of it is routed out of the way on the 350Z. On the G35, it prevents the Crawford bar from being where it has to be. I pulled and streached and their's simply not enough slack to get it out of the way to route like the Z. I'd hate to think what it would cost to pay someone to make a longer wire bundle.

3. On both sides of the strut tower you have braket's that are in the way, that are not present on the Z On the passenger side a bracket securing the power line out of the battery compartment seen here.

And on the drivers side you have a bracket holding onto a A/C line seen here

I have heard of Stillen being in process for a front STB for the G. If it ends up bolting up to the 3 upper shock mount bolts only. I would not touch it. But if they whip up something that copies the Z mounting system, I'm all for it providing it's a design that can carry a load.

Well, it's really not a install. It was a study I did to see what I would have to do to install the Crawford STB, which I bought used for only $75. Way too many things to mod and do, so I sold the STB to a 350Z owners.
