Good shop for sandblasting rims?
Good shop for sandblasting rims?
Does anyone know of a good shop that can sandblast a set of 4 rims for relatively cheap as well as do a good, quality job?
Somewhere near the 91763 postal code.
Much appreciated

Sorry I can't help with your search I don't live in your area. Rather than "Sand Blasting" find a shop in your vicinity that uses Baking Powder for paint removal, it won't damage your wheels like sand will. Check your Yellow Pages or Powder Coating company's should be able to do this for ya....Gary
Sand can warp certain metals if the metal itself is soft . Which is why there are so many different methods of prepping painted metal. Some use walnuts, some use dry ice, it depends on the job at hand.
Definitely chemical strip the wheels. There are lots of wheel refinishing places around Southern California that can do this, and even products you can buy at your local hardware store that will strip off paint.
