BZAbodyn is right....offset between 19 and 29 only comes down to LESS than 1/2 an inch..but....with my +19 in front...the blades of the rim SIT....and i mean SIT on the Brembo calipers...a pebble couldn't even get in there...its so tight..and looks hot.... :-)

I am looking to get a used set of Volk SF Winnings. I know very little about offsets or tire sizes, and need some advice. Here are the specs on the 2 sets I am looking at:
Set 1:
275/30/19x9.5 +25 in the rear 245/35/19x8.5 +29 in the front
Set 2:
19 x 9.5 with a +29 offset in the front (245/35/19) and 19 x 10.5 with a +29 offset in the rear (275/35/19)
What are the pros and cons of each set up? They are going on a stock G35 that will not be lowered.

^^^from what i've read you won't need to roll your fenders at all with either set up, even if you lower it i doubt you will need to roll your fenders
the only pro i can think of is with the second setup is the size of lip, most people like bigger lips on their g for the rear rims, so you'd probably get that on the second set up since it's a 10.5" rim

Randomn Thread Bump
So I read this whole thread because I am also planning on purchasing some Volk SF winnings and wanted to find out what offsets would be best for my 2004 G35 with non-brembo brakes.
I am thinking that the following setup would be the best looking for my car at stock height and would not cause any problems if I decide to drop my car an inch:
19 x 9.5 front +29 = 67mm rim depth
19 x 10.5 rear +29 = 80mm rim depth
However it seems that if I go with the following cheaper and smaller setup it is still possible to get a very similar lip size:
19x8.5 +23 (61mm lip vs 67mm lip of 9.5" +19 and 9.5" +29)
19x9.5 +17 (80mm lip vs 80mm lip of 10.5" +29)
I guess I am just asking what the big advantage would be for spending the extra money and getting the larger size wheels.

Almost Forgot
Another thing I noticed is that when the SF winnings came out a few years ago, the prices appear to have been significantly lower than the current prices. Two people in this thread bough their wheels new for $2200 and $2300. The best price I have been quoted for these wheels in SF winnings in19 x 9.5 and 10.5 is $2680.
Am I missing something, because I thought that wheels would be less expensive after being on the market for a few years.

Thanks realgone
Thanks for your help. We have identical cars( same color and I have upgraded my bumper and headlights) so the pics are very helpful as my car will look exactly like yours when done.
I keep going back and forth between the SF winnings and the Work Vs-xx wheels. I love the mercury silver (better than the silver works) but I also really dig the style of the work wheels and the extra business seems to give the car a sportier look.

To give you an idea, here are my specs and a picture. You can see that there is a gap and lowering would make the appearance better, but my driveway has a concrete hump, and I don't want to hit bottom, maybe rip off my bumper every time I back out. The dish in the front is already not near as deep as the rear and I would not want to go much less. I love the view from behind the car with the 10.5, it looks badass. Not sure if the 9.5 would set flush, like with the 10.5. The stocks are way inside the fender wall, and my 10.5 set flush, it looks awesome.

This is my car (above)
I was wondering, could these wheels be used on a 2010 Sedan. I need to get a 4-door car eventually. I keep putting it off because I love my car so much, but eventually I will have to sell it, plus, I am sick of 14-15 mpg. I have been looking at the new TSX's and I really like them, but I would love to keep my wheels. If they worked on the G37 Sedan, that would be perfect.
Anyone know?
