Confused about spacers.....

Hello all, I would like to add front and rear spacers here soon and am confused at which size will give me what I'm looking for and also which brand is safe to use.

I have Z H-Tech springs to install and would like to sit my factory 19's more even with the fender WITHOUT rubbing under any circumstances. Is this possible?

Also more importantly, will this cause any excess tire wear? I plan to get my alignment after installing the springs/spacers. I'll be doing OEM L&R compression rods as well, probably give it like a week or two after the install to get aligned...

Factory tire size on my wheels.

My original sport suspension seems to be pretty healthy yet so I'm just doing springs, if shocks need replaced I'll probably go for the HP's. I've read a lot of good things about them.

Thanks for any help.

20/25mm will not rub, I had the Ichiba V2's. 25/30mm will give a more flush look but you may/may not have to roll the rear fenders with that size.

Thanks for the reply, so 20/25 won't cause issues? Or do you think I may have to roll fenders, I was really hoping to just bolt on and go.

Rolling the fenders is not a bad thing and is fairly inexpensive to have done. The rears are the only ones that aren't rolled from the factory. I had my fenders rolled before I got the spacers but I'm pretty sure you won't be required to do so with 25mm and stock tire sizes.

Sounds good, I mean...I'll look into it. If rolling them is fairly inexpensive and can be done without harming the paint I may consider it. Thanks for the help.

I'm running 25/25 ichiba V2s with Z Stechs and no rubbing what so ever.

Excellent, thanks for the reply. Have you seen any excess tire wear at all? Do they help the car feel more stable being that they give it a wider stance?

I was able to get my rears back into spec but I was not able to get my fronts. I think my fronts were around -1.7 and I believe you should be good around -1.5? But I'm on s techs so you should be good on tire wear. As for being "stable", I never really noticed being unstable so I can't say lol. I thought you were only worried about rubbing issues though? I might roll my fenders in the next few weeks just because I plan on going with a lower drop in the summer.

And I also got spc front and rear camber kits a few weeks back since I plan on going with coilovers and they are fairly cheaper than what they used to go for. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the replies.

I would just like to have minimal wheel gap at a safe height without going coilover. I'd also like a subtle handling increase. I originally ordered the G35 H-Techs but changed my order after reading threads here about the stiffer spring rate on the Z springs.
