Suspension On G35x??
A better question to ask is, who own's a G35X that has put other then oem shocks on the car? We have a G35X owner running RWD sedan Eibachs and Eibach does offer a G35X specific spring. Also one could call the aftermarket companies and ask a simple question. Have you been able to get ahold of a G35X or a FX where you actually installed your shock or coilover on the car. Until you get a yes, we did have one here and did the install, we still don't have a answer.
I am willing to turn a wrench for any G35X owner that is willing to show up at my doorstep to pull a single front shock/spring and compair the assembly to one of the RWD sedan shock/spring assemblies I have laying around in my garage. I can also ship a RWD front shock/spring assembly to any G35X owner willing to see if it would install on their car.
We know the car does not use the same front suspension as the other RWD G's or Z. A further clue is that the front sway bar is totally different and cannot mount to any RWD G or Z. And yet another clue, if you get down and look at the front suspension as I did, having made a special trip to the dealer for that reason. You will notice that the lower suspension arms are not aluminum, they are cast iron.
Is that the sedan S-tune suspension your planning on? You can accomplish the same thing for a lot less by installing oem 350Z springs and adjustable Tokico D-specs shocks, costs a lot less and you'll get adjustable dampning. Btw, Tokico is the oem manufacture of the oem shocks and the S-tune suspension.
