Tires for my 07 G35x AWD Sedan

Hello Everyone....

Can any one suggest a good set of tires for my 07 G35x AWD Sedan. I do alot of highway driving, spirited driving and all year round (sun and snow).

Thanks

Well sounds like you need an all season performance tire. For your car I would recommend the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S or the BF Goodrich Advantage T/A in 225/55/R17 of course.

The Continental Extreme Contact DWS are awesome tires.. great grip in the dry and wet.. great in the snow.. very smooth and quiet.. very happy with them.. about $180 a pop.. but well worth it!

The G rides like it's on rails!!

+1 for the Continentals. I think that for the money they will be pretty good for most.

That is true, the Extreme Contacts really are a pretty good deal for the performance they deliver. We sell alot of them here and I haven't heard of any negative experiences with them.

Will have to agree on the Conti DWS. Many many G owners on them with really good results. Best "Jack of all trades" tire in its class.

Call me when ready!

Factory is 225/55/17 for the 07... 235/55/17 will have about .5 inch larger circumferance... meaning it will have less revolutions per mile.. throwing the speedo low a few mph.. but not TOO much, also you'll gain about 1.5 inches of track on the width of he tires... as long as you've got the clearance in the fender well.. you SHOULD be ok... not THAT drastic of a change from OEM sizes on the same wheel.

What's crazy is the next size up that has the same parameters as the OEM. is a PLUS 2 fitment a 245/40/19!! so if you want to upgrade to the G37 19" or a set of RAYS 19's.. THAT is the tire that will keep everything dead on as far as speedo accuracy and fender clearance. (relatively speaking that is)
