This is the result of hitting about a 3 inch deep pothole at 50 mph. (didn't see it b/c it was at night and raining). So I pay over $3000 for wheels that crack. Hmm I think I might get replica bbs rather than pay $880 for 1 new volk wheel. a set of reps is under $1000
wheel specs are: sf-winning 19x9.5 +19 f, 19x10.5 +17 r (forgive me if if i have the offsets switched around I cant remember).
Any suggestions?

The 2nd pic doesnt have a crack i was just showing what they looked like before. here is a pic of them on my car
Im not really sure what ill do next I really cant justify payin $900+ by the time I remount and all that. I thought I was paying for super strong wheels that looked good. I may go with some Varrstoen 1.1.2. Im just frustrated everyone talks about how great Volks are and then this happens. $900 down the drain. And to make things worse i just put on Michelin Super Sports on the fronts less than 2 months ago. So hopefully the tire is salvageable if not this was a $1200 pothole. With no guarantee that this wont happen again.

50 mph thru a 3"deep pothole.. sometimes when u hit things just right they break.. 3" is like a small curb.. you basically pay the price when running nice wheels.. glad ur okay..
if it cracked a strong wheel, what would it have done to a cheap wheel...??

he said it was raining and he couldn't see....u must of hit it jus right or something cuz it really takes a lot to do that. I've seen friends fly over curbs and jus bend the rims....but u actually cracked yours.
good luck with what ever u decide to do

i would rather replace the one wheel then buy 4 replica wheels,$900 < $1100 or so for varrstoens

when this happens again you'll spend another $900 for just one wheel... instead of $250Originally Posted by CLEANBS

1) no wheel is invincible, therefor any wheel you buy is one that can crack under the "right" circumstances
2) if the hole did that to a strong wheel, it would've likely destroyed a cheap replica. meaning it would've actually caused more damage to your car, even more expensive
3) if you honestly value cheaper, easily replaceable parts to higher quality expensive ones, then you probably shouldn't be driving an Infiniti
