how are ADR rims?
how are ADR rims?
hey guys, how are the ADR rims in terms of quality?
Also with the following specs will they fit nicely within the wheel well?
SIZE: 18 x 8.5
LUG PATTERN: 5 x 114.3
OFFSET: 35
thanks!

I had Sokudo's in the past for a Protege5 I had... it was a nice looking wheel, but the paint chipped pretty easily...but considering the quality of our 18's, it's probably not
too much worse.
If your car is a coupe, the specs you show should work just fine. make
sure the center hub is 66.1mm (or get hubcentric rings to match). any
picts of the one you're looking at?
edit: btw, here's the Pro5 I had with ADR wheels...
too much worse.

Does anyone know the weight of the stock 17" wheel without the tire for the 2003.5 sport package on the sedans?
The stock Bridgestone Turanaza EL42 215/55/17 is 24 lbs. I'm trying to add as little weight as possible. I'd like to add upgrade the wheel to a lighter weight 17" wheel with the Michelin Pilot A/S 235/50/17.
Adding larger wheels and tires increases weight and steals horsepower. All the mods you can add with a naturally aspirated engine will usually only bring it back to stock if you increase the weight of the wheels and tires. You will increase your cornering capability though with wider tires. I'm just looking for a compromise between width and weight.
Thanks for any help!

I had 20" ADR's before I got Volks, and quality was alrite. Never bent my wheel or anything, but thats because I drove very cautious. When I got enough money, I moved up to Volks beacuse of its known strenght and weight. I think you should save your money and do it right the first time. There are many "used" Volks out there in very good condition. My350z.com and even our classfieds have a few, and if you want to live by your SN "JDMSkyline" you wouldn't go with ADRs
